About

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. Struggling with transitions? No need to make therapy another one. I offer support by helping you work through tough times and learn how to cope with stressors if/when they show up. I also support those who have experienced trauma, foster care, homelessness, shifts in identity, domestic/interpersonal violence, the criminal justice system, and loss/grief. I strive to make therapy an enjoyable and fulfilling experience and meet clients where they are at in their healing journey. I emphasize the use of client centered and strength based approaches. I also prioritize the preservation of self, relationships, and family. Those who benefit most from working with me appreciate a direct and compassionate therapist. I incorporate the use of trauma informed care, mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and expressive arts. I moved across the country (Wisconsin to Arizona) and personally understand that transitions can be difficult. I also come from a multicultural background and understand how the overlap of culture/race can impact an individual especially in the therapeutic process. This is why it is essential for me to create a safe space for my clients as they embark on their healing journey. I have been in the social work field for over 9 years and have had the pleasure of serving a wide range of populations and I welcome those from all walks of life. Don't forget to schedule your free 15 minute consultation! I look forward to being a part of your therapy journey! Ages: Children (10+), Teens, and Adults
